The backyard is designed for ultimate entertainment, with a wiffle ball field, a putting course, an outdoor kitchen, and swings over the water.
To create the patio ceiling, we used a 1×2 piece of trim, preconditioned it, and then stained it with Bona Dune. Before installing the slats, we hung smooth hardi and painted it Tricorn Black.
I love how we have created several gathering spots that allow for intimate settings or enough space to host a large party.
The putting green was an afterthought. We had it designed and installed by TourGreens of Houston. They were an incredible company to work with. They also installed the wiffle ball field for us.
To simplify storage for pool floats, toys, etc., we added a storage room to the back of our garage. I highly recommend prioritizing this. It has made pool storage a game-changer compared to our last home.
