We Officially Moved In!
I can finally share the news… our new office and design center is complete! After months of dreaming, designing, and navigating a little chaos behind the scenes (okay—a lot), I’ve created a space that feels truly special. It’s more than just an office… It’s a creative hub where ideas take shape. And I am so excited to welcome you to this new chapter for Melissa Roberts Interiors.
A Space Designed with You in Mind
When I started planning this studio, I wanted it to reflect everything Melissa Roberts Interiors stands for: thoughtful design, creativity, and a welcoming atmosphere. But more importantly, I wanted it to be a space that truly benefits our clients. Every detail was designed with intention, from the layout to the finishes, to make the design process as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
A Peek Inside the Studio
We replaced outdated finishes and choppy layouts with fresh details and a refined, modern aesthetic that feels so MRI. Here are a few highlights:
- Entryway — Once dark and cramped, now bright and elevated with custom millwork, statement lighting, project photos, and plastered walls.
- Design Library — My favorite corner of the studio. Acrylic rods, organized samples, and space to spread out and collaborate. Truly a designer’s dream.
- Conference Room — Casual sophistication. Simply done so there are no distractions to the layers we are presenting to the client.
- Sitting Area — A cozy corner designed for real conversations and a little relaxation. We wrapped the walls in custom MRI-branded navy wallpaper and anchored the space with a bold, color-drenched sofa you can’t help but sink into.
- Team Workspace — A functional, open environment with natural light and plenty of storage; designed to keep the creativity flowing every day.
Designed With Our Clients in Mind
Yes, it looks beautiful… but even more importantly, it supports the way we work. Whether you’re here for a consultation, reviewing plans, or popping in to chat finishes, we’ve created a space that elevates the whole design experience. It’s comfortable, personal, and intentionally crafted to bring your vision to life.
What’s Next
This reveal is just the beginning. I’m thrilled to share that our new studio will be featured in a magazine announcement next year! I can’t wait to share more when the issue is live. Until then, consider this your behind-the-scenes sneak peek.
