We transformed this entire 90s home that had terrible angles, little functionality, and lacked character. By knocking down walls and reconfiguring spaces, we curated a simple yet impactful design.
Can you believe this is the same home? We completely transformed this 90s house, which once had awkward angles, poor functionality, and little character. The laundry room, kitchen, and master bathroom were especially challenging, with layouts that didn’t make much sense. Can you imagine a kitchen where you can’t open the microwave without hitting a cabinet or a laundry room with angled walls and no functional workspace?
We went back to the drawing board, knocking down walls, reconfiguring spaces, and creating a design that is simple, beautiful, and functional. In the kitchen, we reconfigured the tight layout, providing the chef (in this case, the husband) with a spacious and inspiring area to cook.
The master bath now has a soaker tub in a new location, a built-in linen closet, and a revamped vanity – all while improving the flow and functionality. Even the laundry room feels brand new, with square walls, countertops for folding, and a hanging space for drying clothes. All of this was achieved with future resale in mind, making this home as practical as it is beautiful.
Check out the floor plan we created. An overlay was created to show the client the old walls alongside the proposed new layout. Impressive!
We also revamped all flooring, the guest bath, and all lighting, added living room beams, custom shutters, and more.
