Welcome to the world of sun tanning, patio sitting, pool days, and SUN. Did I mention the sun?? It has been so gray and gloomy in Houston lately; I’m dying for some sunshine! Spring weather in Houston lasts only a few days, then we head straight into the hot, humid summer. Spring Break Essentials

We homeschool Maddox, so technically, he doesn’t get an official spring break (we school year-round), but that doesn’t mean we don’t take advantage of the new season. Well, there you have it, my simple little birthday list! Haha, I kid, I kid. But seriously, Nick —if you are reading this… get busy shopping! On a serious note, I know shopping for spring outfits can be tricky for us ladies. I mean, is there anything else more torturous than bathing suit shopping?

At the beginning of this week, something told me to reread my 2019 goals, and it reminded me to refocus on meeting my end goals. I want to be healthy and happy in this body, and I hope you can do the same. Instead of us focusing so much energy on what we look like — or don’t—in that bikini or shorts, try focusing on your inner self. Soak up the sun and fun with your family and friends!
